Indian Minorities Foundation at House of Commons in Westminster, London, UK
Vijay Goel provided support in organising ‘Charting Goodwill: India’s Global Odyssey’ Event 2023 organized by the Indian Minorities Foundation (IMF). The event witnessed the launch of the book on Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi titled 'Igniting Collective Goodness: Mann Ki Baat @ 100'. It highlights Prime Minister Narendra Modi's unique approach in recognizing individual and collective efforts not just in India but also overseas. The book demonstrates how these developments, from environmental conservation to technological innovation and has ignited thoughtful conversations and research, advancing the nation's progress and prosperity. Notably, the conference saw the esteemed presence of key individuals such as Minister Paul Scully, Sir Gavin Williamson (Ex-Minister), Lord German, Rt. Hon. Baroness Uddin, Deputy Mayor Ramji Chauhan and Mr. Virendra Sharma M.P. among others.

Haryana Roadshow event, London
Indo-European Business Forum (IEBF) organised a road show event led by Haryana's Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, where Mr.Khattar called on UK businesses to explore investment opportunities in the state which he said has emerged as a major industrial and corporate hub.
Mr.Khattar also signed eight MoUs, including one for cooperation with the University of Birmingham to boost agricultural production and productivity and another with British multinational Johnson Matthey, which involves the creation of a new vehicle manufacturing facility with an investment of around Rs 800 crore in Haryana.. The project cost involves land acquisition, construction, installation of machines, commissioning, training of manpower and creating support infrastructure. Among some of the other sectors highlighted for collaboration with UK companies during the roadshow included solar energy, logistics, affordable housing and sustainable transport infrastructure

The Global Investor Meet was held in Indore. the financial capital of Central Indian State of Madhya Pradesh. Around 400 industrialists and investors took part including 121 NRIs and foreigners, out of which 42 were courtesy IEBF.
Vijay Goel has served as the Chairman of London Chamber of Commerce (LCCI)’s Asian Business Association (ABA) for over 2 years, 2014-2015. Under his leadership, the ABA has been successful in attracting many Asian businesses across London to LCCI membership, which helps these businesses to grow through its many services such as networking events, business information and marketing and advertising services.Vijay Goel has also been instrumental in raising the profile of ABA in London business community through greater media coverage, partnerships with other business organisations and inviting trade delegations.
A committee overlooks ABA’s activities and in the past 2 years, through Vijay’s efforts, there is greater diversity on the committee and includes the High Commissioners of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, Heads of prominent Indian banks - Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Rami Ranger, Managing Director Sun Mark, Kirit Patel, Managing Director Day Lewis and John Athwal, Managing Director Premier Decorations to name a few.
Under Vijay Goel’s chairmanship, LCCI ran an impressive array of events with key speakers such as H.E. High Commissioner of India, Mr Ranjan Mathai, TATA’s UK head, Dr David Landsman OBE, Ruby McGregor-Smith CBE, Chief Executive of MITIE group, Prince Michael of Kent GCVO, Lord Bilimoria and Baroness Verma.. These events have helped position ABA as a premier forum for Asian businesses in UK.

Asian Business Association Diwali reception
ABA celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights, with a reception at Lancaster hotel with guest speaker HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO. Prince Michael acknowledged ABA's trade promotion work over the 20 years and praised ABA's support to charities. He also spoke of his own experience of the Indian sub-continent. ABA and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) seminar on India-UK relations following the new government and its first budget
This seminar hosted by LCCI saw aneminent panel of speakers:Priti Patel –Minister of State (Department for Work and pensions), Lord Desai - Professor Emeritus, LSE, Ajay Sriram - President, CII &Chandrajit Banerjee - Director General, CII who gave their views on Indian Government's new budget, key industry sectors for investment and India-UK trade ties in light of the budget. The event attracted around 100 guests who got a unique opportunity to put questions regarding the future of the Indian economy to the panel. This was followed by the renewal of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between LCCI and the CII.
